Allianz Milano will return to the field on Sunday, April 19th for the playoff semifinals for 5th place in the SuperLega Credem Banca, facing a key team like Valsa Group Modena. This matchup has a touch of recent history: the Emilians were their first opponents of the season and also their last last year, when the final for 5th place was won by the Milanese team, who went on to win the Challenge Cup. The best-of-three series puts the European qualification final at stake, while on the other side of the bracket, Treno and Monza will face off. The schedule includes Game 1 on Sunday, April 19th at the PalaPanini, the temple of volleyball, with kick-off at 6:00 PM, when Allianz Milano will visit Valsa Group Modena. The return match, Game 2, is scheduled for Sunday, April 26th at 5:00 PM at the Allianz Cloud in Milan. Any Game 3 would be played again in Modena by virtue of the regular season position.
