Continuity, identity, and a desire to continue a journey built over time. Atlantide Pallavolo Brescia restarts with the confirmation of coach Roberto Zambonardi, a Brescia-born coach born in 1973, a true icon of Brescia volleyball and a key figure in the Atlantide project.

Earlier as an athlete for the historic Siap and Aquater Brescia, Zambonardi subsequently began his coaching career in the youth sector, working alongside key figures like Paolo Iervolino at the Accademia Volley Brescia, building over the years a philosophy based on hard work, youth development, and a sense of belonging to the local community.

Since 2001, his name has been inextricably linked to Atlantide Pallavolo Brescia, the club he co-founded and played a key role in its technical and athletic growth. From Serie D to the team’s promotion to Serie A2 at the end of the 2013/2014 season, coach Zambonardi’s journey represents one of the most important chapters in the recent history of Brescia volleyball.

Over the years, the Brescian coach has consolidated the club at the top of the league, guiding Atlantide through high-level seasons, finals, trophies (two Coppa Italias and a Supercoppa for the white-and-blue club), and continuous corporate evolution, always maintaining a strong bond with the city and the identity of the white-and-blue project.

The confirmation of the coach thus represents a fundamental step in building the new season, marked by continuity, competence, and the desire to continue a journey built with passion and sacrifice.

“I am happy to be able to continue this journey,” were Coach Zambonardi’s first words. “Brescia is a club I know deeply and with which I have developed a strong bond over the years. A challenging new season awaits us, but the desire to work and grow together is not lacking. We will restart with enthusiasm, aware of the importance of representing this club and this city.”
