The “I Love Piacenza Award” was presented to Hristo Zlatanov, General Manager of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, by Panathlon Club Piacenza Primogenita.
The award was presented to Hristo Zlatanov during an evening held at the Circolo dell’Unione in Piacenza. Paolo Gerntilotti, President of Panathlon Piacenza Primogenita, and members Luigi Ballani and Danilo Minoia hosted the event, accompanied by Piacenza’s Sports Councilor Mario Dadati.
In addition to the leadership of Panathlon Club Piacenza Primogenita, well-known figures from Piacenza’s sports scene presented the plaques to the various award recipients, including Giuseppe Bongiorni, Vice President of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, who presented the award to Hristo Zlatanov.
The “I Love Piacenza” Award is a new addition to this year’s edition and was presented to Hristo Zlatanov, who arrived in Piacenza in 2003 as a player and has never left, embodying the perfect symbol of a club.
Hristo Zlatanov: “I’m grateful for this award. I arrived in Piacenza over two decades ago as a player. I’ve become attached to Piacenza, and I’ll always be attached to Piacenza, where I ended my playing career and began my career as a manager. The transition from the pitch to the desk has been especially painful, especially because now I can no longer release my tension on the pitch.”
