These are emotional words from young Domotek Volley setter Thomas Spinello, at the end of the feat that gave the Amaranto a treble. It was a triumph in front of a record crowd of over 7,000, which transformed the Palacalafiore into a volcano of passion.
When asked about the emotions following the victory, Thomas is undeniable: “Yes, so many. Let’s just say that playing in such a packed Palacalafiore, with a record 7,000 spectators, was an incredible feeling.” The young director recounts his impact with the magical atmosphere of the final: “From the very beginning, right when we entered the court to warm up, I had chills because I immediately saw the arena full, or at least that it was filling up. Then the lights, the special effects… before taking the court, it was beautiful.”

A moment that particularly moved him was seeing his own “blowup”: “Yes, with my face. In fact, I honestly wasn’t expecting it. When I saw it, I got chills again. There were so many emotions during this final match.”

Amid the general jubilation, Spinello didn’t forget a teammate who was sidelined: Matteo Mancinelli. “Yes, in fact, this victory is also dedicated to him, to all the sacrifices he’s made this year. Unfortunately, he couldn’t be there for the final match, but he was actually there with us, he was playing for us too. A special dedication goes to him.”
