Sonepar Padova is a club where players change frequently; it’s in the nature of a club that focuses on young players and launches them to ever greater heights. But making all this possible are those who remain, season after season, to build the foundations.

The entire Padova coaching staff is confirmed for next season! Luca Beccaro, Tommaso Rizzi, and Alessio Carraro will oversee the team alongside Coaches Cuttini and Salmaso.

Luca Beccaro, assistant coach in his umpteenth season with the team, spoke first, making no secret of how this environment has become more than just a workplace.

“It’s always easy to convince me to stay. Padua is home to me. I’ve been here for many years and have held various positions over time. Last year, for example, Bergamasco, whom I coached when he was still in the Under-14s, joined the first team. This year, it will be the turn of other players I coached in the Under-13s. For me, seeing them grow into the senior ranks is a huge satisfaction.”

The team’s plans for next season are already clear.

“I find it inspiring that every year we work with young players with high growth prospects. I can’t wait to get to know them and work with the staff to bring out the best in each of them.”

Tommaso Rizzi, a scout in his third consecutive season in the role but a lifelong Juventus player, who grew up in the Padua youth system, is on the same wavelength. He knows everything about this environment, and when he talks about the coaching team, he has no doubts.

“The staff and I are very close; we’re in great harmony. Working in such a close-knit environment helps a lot, especially during the most difficult moments of the season.”
