Society history
La società nasce alla fine dell'estate del 1990 a segutio della fusione tra le due storiche società bolognesi: la Pencus e la Zinella.Nella stagione 92/93 vince il premio "K. Kilgour" per il pubblico più corretto.Nella stagione 1994/95 riceve il premio "J. George" per il pubblico più corretto. Nel 1998 in mancanza di imprenditori che potessero sostenerla economicamente si trasferisce il titolo di A1 a Ferrara lasciando a Bologna un squadra di B2. Dalla stagione successiva (99/00) diventa Zinella 2000 Ferrara.
