Society history
La M. Roma Volley ha una storia brevissima. Nel 2006 Massimo Mezzaroma ha rilevato il titolo da Crema ed ha affidato la squadra a Roberto Serniotti.
Nella prima stagione in A1, la M. Roma ha conquistato la semifinale scudetto e ha disputato la finale di Coppa Italia. Nel campionato successivo s'è riscattata vincendo la Coppa Cev. Prima di aggiudicarsi la Coppa Confederale, la M. Roma ha disputato i playoff e ancora una volta la finale di Coppa Italia. Mentre nella Supercoppa Italiana la formazione è stata battuta da Treviso.
Constatato il disinteresse delle istituzioni, Mezzaroma ha rinunciato a giocare il campionato di A1 ed ha iscritto la squadra a quello di A2.
Serniotti è stato sostituito da Piacentini e nella sua prima stagione di A2 la M. Roma ha raggiunto i playoff e la semifinale di Coppa Italia. A rendere giustizia alla buona stagione del club è arrivato lo scudetto dell'Under 18. Nella stagione 2009/10 arriva Andrea Giani che da tecnico conquista la Coppa Italia di A2 e la promozione in A1.
