Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia: new arrivals for the Club are Lorenzo Cavallini and Fosco Cicola. Francesco Piccioni has been reconfirmed.
Middleblocker Lorenzo Cavallini, born in 1970, 198cm tall, played for the last two seasons with Copra Piacenza and he won last year the Top Teams Cup. His debut has been in the nighties with Reggio Emilia in B2. Then he played with Macerata, Milano and Padova.
For Fosco Cicola is a coming back, after already be part of the team in 2003/2004. Born in 1974, 192 cm tall, he played last year with Diavoli Rossi in Nicosia (Serie B1).
Spiker Francesco Piccioni has been confirmed and he just can’t wait to be part once again of Tonno Callipo family.
“I am very happy” President Callipo said “about Fosco Cicola because of his will to be back in Vibo Valentia. He left good memories here and fans will be surely happy of his coming back. Also Lorenzo Cavallini is very welcome and his experience will play a big part next year. And I am also very happy that Ciccio Piccioni will be part of the team also for next year.”
