In the second set BreBanca Lannutti finds his game back and goes ahead 5-2 and 7-6 but Biribanti and teammates reach 9-9. Then it is still Verona that goes ahead and arrives at 15-17. The end of set is played point by point but a Gato and Boninfante errors give the set to Cuneo for 25-23.
Also the third set is very tight and a Wijsmans errors gives a three point advantage to Verona (10-13). In the second part of the set Cuneo ties the score up: 17-17. The final part is for Cuneo: Omrcen, Abbadi and Oro gives the victory of the set for 25-23 to Cuneo.
Great start for Cuneo in the fourth set: the score is 8-5 at the first time out. Verona recovers and reaches 14-14. The two teams fight point to point: 20-20, 23-23. An Bontje error gives a match point to Cuneo that close the match with a Omrcen ace but the ball looked out so big mistake for the referees.
