CAZZANIGA STILL TOP SCORER BUT MORO SHINES

The top scorers of the Serie A2 TIM championship are still led by Roberto Cazzaniga who steps further away from his follower Gabriel Chocholak from Stilcasa Saleto d’amare Taviano while celebrating the sole leadership with his team Premier Hotels Crema.
Against Codyeco Santa Croce, the diagonal player put down 24 balls while the slovack only 6 points against Spoleto. Cazzaniga leads this special ranking with 203 points, Chocholak follows with 164.

William Kirchein (144) from Divani&Divani Avellino has to leave the third place to Stefano Moro (158) SP TTTLines Catania’s bomber and this round’s top scorer. But his 36 points in one match were not enough to avoid his team’s home defeat against Raccorderie Metalliche Mantova. His was the best individual score from the beginning of the season, previously held by Cazzaniga who scored 32 points on the 6th round.

Daniele Desiderio showed himself in Daniele Desiderio’s team with 16 points. The overall plunder between the two players is 52 points out of the 103 scored by the team in five sets.

Stefano Moro’s is not an absolute record though. The leadership of points scored in a single match is held by Josè Matheus who, on the 7th of december 2000 playing for Gioia del Colle scored 45 points (Asti-Gioia del Colle). The Venezuelan diagonal player also scored 43 points ten days later against Grottazzolina, match that ended at tie break too.

In third position Brasilian Wallace from Santa Croce who scored 41 points in the season 2003/2004 (28th of sept. 2003 Bassano-S. Croce 2-3). Following on 40 points we find Shittu, Monteiro, Fabbiani and Majdak.
