Chiovini: “The defeat in Castellana was heavy for our legs and our minds”

Olio Pignatelli Isernia could not express their game in Loreto either, where PalaSerenelli stays a tabu for the boys. The previous defeat in Castellana is still in their legs and especially their minds, two away matches in two days do not allow they boys to get rid of the toxins accumulated in Puglia last thursday, which made it easy for the home team to win 3-0.

The white&blue went on court tight and struggled to get into the match, despite fighting back each ball against Esse-Ti Carilo Loreto whose focal points were Dunnes and Peda.

At the end of the match the trainer underlines: “Mentally we were still in Castellana which affected our game. We served and attacked badly and we were lacking the necessary determination and attitude to get the best of them!”
“Next week’s break will be a God’s sent for us to recharge our batteries to get over this psycological low phase. After living a month on a high in october, we are going through a low phase, the break comes at the right time”.
