Krasimir Stefanov is from today part of Trentino Volley. The Club has just signed a deal for this year with an option for the next season.
The player comes from Budvanska Rivijera Budva, a Montenegro team who came third in the CEV Cup. In the final four in Rome last march, he was the best scorer of this prestigious European Competition.
202 cm, with a powerful arm and a very effective block, Stefanov will have the task to make himself precious in training and make it difficult for Radostin Stoytchev to choose the starting six for a season that, between the Champions League and the championship, is likely to be full of commitments.
Stefanov played 47 times with his national team, taking part in hte European championships in 2001 abd 2003 and a couple of editions of the World League. With his Club he won 5 championships in and 6 Bulgarian Cups, mvp of the competition in 2003.
He also played in France and Turkey.
