An unforgetable season

Arveno Joan’s team offered a last gasp 14th place in the league to its fans, an achievement that allows the club to keep a slim hope to stay in this division next season. Staying up directly was the main target and the club failed to make it but it was important not to finish in the last two positions. Indeed, after the Roma game, the club sent a request to the Italian League president, Diego Mosna, to be brought back in the division if this possibility was to occur.
