“Twenty years of volleyball in Montichiari cannot be erased like that but the separation had become impossibile to avoid – explained chairman Marcello Gabana – I am convinced that Monza is the ideal city. A city that could not wait for us to be transferred. It’s been the most difficult summer of my career. It’s obvious that it’s been painful, the fans have simply been wonderful but I had to take this decision”.
Monza’s first home game at the Pala Iper will be on Sunday 11 October against Cuneo.
