Padova and setter Simone Tiberti reached an agreement for the 2009-10 season. This is the club’s fourth signing after Manuele Cricca, Yu Koshikawa and Juan Carlos Barcala.
Born in 1980 in Brescia, in 2003 he won promotion to the A1 with Trieste. He recently played in Crema, Arezzo before coming back to Montichiari, where he played until today. “It’s very important for me to play here – said Tiberti – because the club is trying to put together a strong and ambitious group. I was fine at Montichiari but I had to make the right choice for my career”.
