The A2 season will begin on the 27th of September and Gioia del Colle will try to do as exceptionally well as it did in 2008-09. Rigoni, Degiorgi and Niero will stay and the club added excellent players such as Da Silva, middleblocker Tomasello, libero Pagotto and spiker/libero Viva. The two youngsters Del Vecchio, spiker, and Cetrullo, outside hitter, will be ready to give a hand while the news of a powerful spiker from Byelorussia could some become reality.
