Trailed two sets to love, Verona exploded in the third with the entry of Curti and Della Lunga (MVP) and never looked back. This tie-break victory led Verona to sixth place in the league with 10 points. Last year Verona had one more point having played bigger name teams but it has to be said that this season, the team never had time to rest and played the midweek games always away from home.
