Castellana Grotte’s roster is starting to take shape with the arrival of Paolo Cozzi. The middleblocker came up in Milano where he began in the Serie C and went all the way up to the Serie A1. In 2003, he signed for Modena, where he won the Cev Cup in 2004. He moved on to Cuneo, winning the Italian cup in 2006, and then took part in two league finals with Piacenza. Last season he played for Taranto. He gathered 87 caps with the Italian national team and won the European Championships twice and the Silver medal in Athens’ Olympic Games in 2004.
