In front of around 400 supporters, Padova has been focused and aggressive from the start, and came away with a tie-break win over Belluno. In the deciding set, it was all tied at 10. Rosso obtained the 13-11 with an ace, while De Marchi and Suljagic sealed it.

“I am happy to see the team is improving – said Montagnani – But there is definitely still a lot of work on. We have to learn to keep things tight and stay focus point after point during the whole game. Hopefully, we’ll be able to try out Schwarz on Wednesday (game versus Salonit from Slovenia)”.
