Easy ride in Belgrade for Trentino against Partizan in its first away game in the Champions League. The trio Juantorena-Kaziyski-Stokr as well as the pair of middle blockers Brinkman and Burgsthaler all had excellent performances. Coach Stoytchev sent once again an unprecedented starting line up this season. In the second set, Belgrade saved five set points but there was still a large margin for the Italians, who sealed it at 25-14. The Serbian’s best moment came at the start of the third when it led 3-0, then 4-1 and 10-7. The holders eventually tied it at 11 before dominating the rest of the set and match.
