Modena announced the signing of Andrii Driachkov. Born in 1985 in Kazakhstan where he lived until 8 years old, the Ukrainian spiker arrived in Italy in 2009 with Loreto. Last year he began the season at Forlì before moving to Russia and Lokomotiv Noyosibirsk in February.
“I am so happy to be in Modena – said Diachkov – I still remember the first time I met Modena. It was in 2007-08 in the Challenge Cup with Lokomotiv Kharkiv. It was the “Brazilian Modena”, we lost 3-1 here and won 3-1 at home but we were beaten 19-17 in the Golden set. I still have the shirt of this game.
