Coach Paolo Montagnani can have a big smile on his face as his Padova team defeated the Slovakian team of Bratislava 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-18) in its first friendly game of the season. The starting six was Gonzalez, Cricca, Semenzato, Rosso, De Marchi and Simeonov as outside hitter.
“The fact we played four sets without physically suffering much is a good result – said coach Montagnani – I am glad for the newcomers, which settled in our working methods well. This is something very important because this helps us to prepare much better. As for the game, I like the fact the team wanted to win from the start”.
