Verona concluded its fourth week of work with a friendly game in Padova. The Australians Peacock and Zingel joined the rest of the team this week, while the only player missing left is Ter Horst.
“We were extremely tired coming into this game – said coach Bagnoli – Padova played better volleyball compared to last week, while we have not been physically present. We have often been close to get break points, but we couldn’t finish them off. We have not been as good at the net too, and that made the difference”.
