Latina will be in Sastamala tomorrow to take on the Finnish team in the Cev Cup 8th of final first leg. The Fins got there by winning the league title in seven games (4-3) over Hurrikaani last season. In the previous round, they defeated the Estonians of Tallinn in the Golden Set (15-10). They are currently third in their national championship but have 2 and 3 games in hand on the two teams above.
“We are coming off two games played at a high rhythm against top class teams like Macerata and Trento, if we can manage to keep that same level, I think we’ll win it” said Jeroen Rauwerdink.
