In round 8, Latina had the better of a direct opponent in the league table, Vibo Valentia, and took advantage of Cuneo’s defeat in Modena to move up to third place. In the meantime, Rauwerdink reached and overcame the 1000 points in the club’s 100th victory in the A1.
“A hundred wins in the A1 is a prestigious result – said Luigi Goldner – When we went up in the A1 in 2001-02, we certainly did not think we would realize such achievement. Despite all the difficulties faced in recent years, we are still beating records and offering top level volleyball in Latina”.
