Latina made another move on the market with the signing of libero Salvatore Rossini. The latter has been called in Berruto’s Italian national team for the group working for the World League. Rossini had already played for Latina between 2003 and 2005 but in the youth department, he was part of the team with Saitta and Cortina that won the Junior League. Last season, he helped Monza finish seventh in the league and go to the Cev Cup semi-final.
“I am very pleased with this decision, it did not take us long to reach an agreement – said Rossini – I arrived as a little kid in Latina in my first experience away from home. I remember watching the game in the PalaBianchini arena, hopefully I’ll do well now that I’ll be in the team”.
