Sora was back on the winning path last week in Matera and will try to keep it going at home as they host Loreto. The latter is into its 16th consecutive season in the Serie A and is coached by Emanuele Fracascia, in his third season. Loreto’s results have however failed to meet the expectations: only 4 points with a 3-1 victory over Matera and a tie-break against Monza.
“Sunday’s game will be a special one – said middle blocker Simone Anzani, who used to play on the other side of the net – I’ll be playing against the team that launched my career, the first club that believed in me. I owe them a lot and I will never stop thanking their staff and the great people I have had alongside, the ones that contributed to make me become the Simone Anzani I am today”.
