Groppi is the last signing

Padova completed its roster with the addition of back-up setter Michele Groppu. Born in September 1986, he made his debut in top volleyball in 2001-02 with Modena. He then gained experience at Casinalbo and Carpi before flying to the USA and California to get a degree in International Relations at Stanford. He kept playing there with the team of his university. Then he came back to Italy and wore the shirts of Verona, Genova and Reggio Emilia last year.
