Treia is facing a new challenge tomorrow as it kicks off its Champions League campaign. The first one is in Istanbul against Fenerbahce, in which there are Miljkovic and Wijsmans who both played in Macerata in the past. The Turkish is a top side, winner of last season’s Challenge Cup, and there are more top quality clients in Treia’s group with Belgorod, the holders, and the French of Paris, winners of the CEV Cup.

“This will be my first time in the Champions League – said Giulio Sabbi who signed at the club this summer – This will be a special emotion for me, I am really excited to play for the club, I will give everything I have in this first European game of the season. We’ll have a tough task, we’ll be up against experienced players used to play at the highest level on the international scene”.
