Ortona is already warming up for the coming season. Its first signing is Australian international Paul Sanderson. Born in Melbourne in 1986, the spiker is currently playing in the World League in Group C with Belgium, Finland and Canada. So far so good as he has been one of the nice surprises of the competition earning a starting role. “He’s a modern spiker – described coach Lanci – Good in attack and on the serve, but not bad either in the second line. I am sure he will turn out to be an excellent choice”.
