This is the end of a season that will remain in the memories for years. A final lost in game 4 yesterday but played at a great level at the end of a splendid run. A big thank you to the Serbian Coach, Boban Kovac, who wrote the history of the club in the past three years. He arrived humble, kind with everyone, and made his way into the hearts of all the Perugia faithful. A big thank you to the man who will now take on a new challenge away from the club.
“It’s been three exceptional years in which we have gotten better and better – said Kovac with his contagious smile – I really have to thank president Sirci for giving me the opportunity to train in Italy. Three years ago, there were three thousand coaches with the same curriculum, that was a courageous choice which in the end turned out to be a good one”.
