Italian internationals Massimo Colaci and Filippo Lanza joined the team in training on Friday. Birarelli and Solé will complete the roster on Tuesday.
“No matter the result, the World Championships in Poland was important for me because I gained so much experience – said Colaci – I am happy with the way I played, I clearly would have preferred to stay in Poland until Sunday but we have to accept the result and look ahead. I will try to transform the bitterness of the premature elimination into positive energy for this new season with Trento”.
“I am glad to start another season with Trento – said Lanza – I know very well most of the players, it’s great to have Stoytchev, Kaziyski and Zygadlo back and to play with the young Giannelli, Nelli and Mazzone too. The team will be even younger this year and that’s an extra motivation for me, it will be very exciting and I’ll see players that came up in the youth ranks with me”.
