BluVolley Verona announced that Piero Rebaudengo was appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the club. The press conference to introduce him to the media will take place on Wednesday April 23 at 11pm. From 2002 to 2006, he lived an extremely important experience in the organization of great sport events being the director of the Para-Olympics in Turin in 2006. Then from 2007 to 2012, he became the Sport Director in the FIVB, the International Volleyball Federation in Lausanne. He was in charge of the organization of great events (Olympic Games, the World Championships, the World League and the World Cup) as well as the sports regulations, the referees and player transfer regulations. Rebaudengo has also played professionally, spending 10 of his 12 seasons at the highest level at Turin and two others in Parma. On the way, Verona’s new CEO won four league titles, two Champions League and one Cup Winners Cup. He also collected 186 appearances with the Italian national team, winning four medals, among which the bronze in the Olympic Games 1984 in Los Angeles.
