Alessano is thrilled to announce the signing of Marco Piscopo. The club secured the services of a middle blocker who could easily be playing at the level above. He indeed played for years in the SuperLega. Born in Gagliano del Capo in July 1983, he was last season at Molfetta. His main strength is the block, while he is also a real leader on court.
“I loved the idea to play for Alessano from the start – said Piscopo – I had offers from the SuperLega but turned them down. I don’t consider it a shame to go down in the second division, on the contrary, it will be a privilege to play for a team of my region.
