Cantù wins two-hour battle

Cantù was looking for big points to reach the fourth place in the league table as they took on Matera, standing six points behind. The visitors dominated the first set but Cantù bounced back in the second. They let the third set slip away at the death before getting the tie again in the fourth. Cantù quickly found themselves three points behind but managed to turn things around to finish on the winning end. “Tonight we managed to react every time we were in a difficult situation” said coach Massimo Della Rosa.
