Fifth week ends in Latina

Perugia’s coming friendly in Latina will seal week 5 of pre-season training. Winner in Tuscania on Wednesday, the Block Devils will have a tougher opposition this time against a SuperLega team. Latina will be led by assistant coach Marco Franchi (Camillo Placì being on international duty with Serbia) and will have most of his players available except for Slovenian international Sket and middle blocker Yosifov (Bulgaria). They should therefore start with setter Boninfante, their big signing Pavlov as outside hitter, Rossi and Mattei in the middle, former Perugia star Gabriele Maruotti and young talent born in 1996 Ferenciac with Romiti libero. Next week, Perugia will play its first games at home, on Wednesday against Siena, and on Saturday against Latina.
