Half of the Italian League Volleyball awards have something to do with Trentino Volley. That gave club and fans one more reason to celebrate a superb 2014-15 season. Simone Giannelli was named the Best Under 23, Radostin Stoytchev the best coach, two of the club’s youngsters who came up in the academy received awards too. Alberto Polo was named best Under 23 in the Serie A2 with Potenza Picena, while Michele Morelli was the top scorer of the same division. Finally, the Trento supporters were named the best crowd.
“These League awards mean a lot to us – said GM Bruno Da Re – It comes from the votes of all the clubs so we’re particularly pleased. I am especially happy with the fact our fans were named the best, which goes to show what a special atmosphere there is the PalaTrento arena, there is a family atmosphere which makes it a really nice moment to spend for anyone wanting to spend a day watching a spectacular and exciting sport”.
