The last one to land in Perugia is Georgios Tzioumakas. Born in 1995, the young outside hitter arrived from Thessaloniki after a summer spent with the Greek national team.
“All in all, it’s been a rather positive summer with the national team – he said – We might have been able to do a little more but we worked very hard for two months, we played some good games and definitely had better results than last year. Now I’m focused on Perugia, everybody here has a great will to do well, we’re getting ready for a great season. Besides, as soon as I talked to the coach he conveyed me his excitement. He really loves to coach, he wants to work hard on fundamentals and he’s determined to bring the team as high as possible”.
