For the third time in four years, the return to Trento from Gabriele Nelli was characterised by the presence of a medal around his neck. After the gold in 2012 with the Juniors in the European Championships and the bronze in the World Championships Under 21, this time he helped Italy’s Under 23 to another bronze in the World Championships in Dubai.
“It’s been an exhausting summer with the national team but at the same time a great one – he said – We have worked real hard and consequently the results came. I have to thank Trento because I really learnt a lot thanks to the experience in the first team in recent years. Now a couple of days rest should be enough and I’ll be ready to go again”.
