There were two teams desperate for points on Sunday but in the end the biggest part of the cake went to Aversa who won it in the tie-break.

“We have finally played as a team and took a point against a team who played well – said coach Adriano Di Pinto – We’re disappointed we did not make the most of all our oppoprtunities, we hurt ourselves once again. We have our moments but we also make silly mystakes. Luckily our fighting spirit always gives us the strength to get back on track”.

The top scorer of the encounter was young outside hitter Andrea Argenta with 25 points (54%): “These are not two points lost but one won. Libraro and his team had a great game but we could have done better and won it. There are moments in which everything goes to perfection and others in which we disappear. When our reception works we’re dangerous, but we need time to make it all work and we knew that”.
