Civita Castellana’s first season in the Serie A2 ended in the playoffs quarter-finals. Reggio Emilia was too strong, they managed to step up a gear in the most important moment of the season and qualified for the semi-finals. Still, this remains a very special debut for Civita Castellana who immediately made a name for itself among the big teams of the championships. The team played away from home all season as the home games were played in Monterotondo, but the fans responded and helped the team all year long. 2015-16 was also the year of Cesarini and Paolucci’s come-back home, and the year of the first foreign player of the club, Da Silva, who has been the spiker of all spikers. All the players proved they had what it took to play at this level like Marinelli who had an excellent debut year. This will remain season to remember.
