Alessandro Preti scored no less than 433 total points last season with an incredibile consistency. He was simply one of the absolute best spikers in the league and naturally very coveted. Still, he opted to sign for Civita Castellana. Strong in attack, he’s also very good in reception and has a threatening serve. Preti began his pro career in Club Italia, then at Segrate for a couple of season before having his first test of SuperLega in 2014-15 with Milan. Last season, he played for Cantù in the Serie A2.
“I am so delighted to come to Civita Castellana – said Preti – I played against them last season and they looked like one of the best equipped teams both on court as well as on the bench. I really hope to have a great season with the team, hopefully I will get better in so many little aspects, which could make the difference to become a good Serie A player. What can I say, I’m just looking forward to start the pre-season in August”.
