Milan keeps building its roster for the coming season and its latest addition is Danilo Cortina. The Sicilian libero obtained no less than two promotions in his career with Latina and Molfetta. Last season, he helped Noliko Maaseik reach the Belgium playoff final and qualify for the Champions League. Career highlights also includes an Italian Cup A2 and an Italian Super Cup.

“I am thrilled to join Milan – said Danilo Cortina – I have already played in Milan with the Sparkling team, it was my first year as a professional. It had been a very significant season, I had been able to play a lot as the starting libero had gotten injured. I played a lot in the A2 then because I always found myself with teams playing to go up, and indeed it’s always been like that except for this season, which has been a bit difficult. The SuperLega is an important challenge for me, I have played in it but never as starting libero. But I’m confident, I know Luca Monti really wanted me. I’m sure we will do well”.
