More calls came in for the Padova stars from the Italian national teams. While middle blocker Francesco Fusaro was selected in the Under 19, Balaso, Leoni and Milan will be in the Under 22 team. Last June, Fusaro helped Italy’s Under 17 grab the gold medal in the Wevza tournament dedicated to the teams from Western Europe. “We are thrilled because this rewards the work carried out by the boys at the club” said coach Valerio Baldovin.
