Cantù’s last trip of the regular season will be this Sunday in Monterotondo. In the last round, Cantù was defeated by the league leaders Vibo Valentia but gave it a good fight in the first two sets.
“On Sunday we had an excellent game against Vibo, who had to play above its usual standard to beat us, usual standards that are already very high – said coach Massimo Della Rosa – In spite of the loss, we became certain to take part in the playoffs with two games to spare. But in those two games we’ll try to take as many points as possible to get a better draw in the playoffs. We’ll have a very tough game this Sunday against an extremely well-organised team with top level players like Paolucci and Da Costa Silva”.
