Beaten yesterday by the Italian Champions of Trentino in the deciding game 5 of the League playoffs quarter-finals, Molfetta will now play for a place in the Challenge Cup. The first step is a match-up on the best of three against Monza. Game 1 is scheduled on Sunday 10 April at 6pm in Molfetta. Game 2 will be in Monza on Wednesday 13 April at 8.30pm. If a decider is needed, it will be back south in the Apulia region on Sunday 17 April. Monza won both regular season games against Molfetta on a 3-1 score, the first one home in November, the second away in February.
