Vibo Valentia signed its first spiker: Carlos Eduardo Barreto Silva. The young and talented Brazilian, better known as Kadu, came up in Sada Cruzeiro. His rights are owned by the club world champion. He played last season as starter in the Brazilian SuperLega with Montes Claros. Carlos won two World Club Championships in 2013 and 2015, while he had experienced with the youth and senior national team in the Pan American Games (silver medal), the World Championships U23 (5th) and the South American Championships (gold medal).
