Just a few words from our Instagram profile written by Giorgia Rizzo at the end of this 2015-16 sport season. “We have reached the end and more than ever it is the time of the ‘Thank you, in spite of…”. The first thank you goes to whom decided to sign a contract even if that meant playing a level under. Thank you to those who renewed the contract in spite of last season’s poor result. Thanks to those who began this journey with us, even if they then decided to take a different path. Thank you to the club who put maximum effort, which did what it could (and how it could) in spite of limited financial resources. Thank you to the sponsors who keep believing in this project. And thank you to the fans, who every bloody Sunday decided to share the good and difficult times with the team in spite of the fact it often meant putting their pride aside and seeing the team lose. Thank you and see you all next season”.
