Vibo Valeentia signed Enrico Diamantini. Born in 1993, the middle blocker came up in Macerata’s youth academy. While Presta left the club, Diamantini is the second middle blocker at the disposal of coach Waldo Kantor after the signature of Barone. In 2015-16, Diamantini played for Padova, while he had a superb season the previous year with Potenza Picena as best blocker of the league with 107.
“I think there is everything required here to do well thanks to how professional and well organized this club is – said Diamantini – This is a club that is used to the highest level. I talked to coach Kantor, I clicked with him immediately. I think this is a coach who likes to work hard and I firmly believe that he can teach us a lot, especially to us youngsters”.
