Good news for the club with the renewal of Michele Simoni. Born in 1990, 193cm tall, Simoni has been at Ortona for basically all his life, improving year after year. The only season out he had was in 2009-10 with Anagni (B1) before coming back home. Impetuous and with great character, he’s ready to face his fifth season in the Serie A2 with the team of his home town.
“I’m glad to keep wearing the Ortona shirt – said Simoni – It’s obvious that I feel close to the city and I want to keep getting better with this team. It won’t be an easy season, there are competitive teams, the will be a tight and hard-fought league. I can’t wait to get to know my new teammates and get together with the others who spent those fantastic years with me”.
